We call Ash the "guard dog" of the kennel. Any time there is a noise nearby, Ash barks to alert the rest of the team.

If you hang out with her, you may notice she has an odd way of sitting. She's been sitting that way since she was a puppy and we think it's adorable!

Chachi joined our team in September all the way from Minnesota!

He's a sweet guy and we're eager to see how he does this year.

Chrissy is a shy girl and prefers to meet new people one at a time. She's very sweet once she has has some time to get to know you.

Cinder is very sweet and affectionate. She loves attention, but can get a little nervous around large groups of people.

   Eco is full of energy, he could play all day! He loves being with his people and goofing around. He can be a little nervous around newcomers, but is such an affectionate guy once he gets to know you.

   Ember has both beauty and brawn. She is one of the most difficult dogs to walk on leash; she gets low to the ground and pulls with everything she's got. Ember has a driven spirit and we are so excided to she what she does in the coming year!

Granite is a big pup with gorgeous blue eyes. He took to running with the big dogs right away. If he's not in the team, he is barking and letting everyone know he's ready to run.

Irwin is new to our team. He joined us in September 2023. He is a sweet dog, but a bit shy towards newcomers.

Jade is on the more timid side when she is loose and playing with her friends. On the sled she pulls hard and gets excited when she knows it's time to work.

Jade has little spots on her nose we call her "freckles".

Jasper is absolutely crazy about running! His first day of training he got right in and started pulling. There's never been any question in his mind about what he loves to do.

   Juni's nickname is "Happy" because she is always in such a good mood. You'll always find her with her tail wagging! Juni is small in stature, but she's determined and strong. 

   Kindle can seem timid to new people and experiences, but warms up fast and can be very affectionate. She started leading at only one year old! Kindle never wants to quit, when she's taken out of the team for a break she always seems  sad until it's time to run again.

Moose is a lover, though he may not be the biggest or fastest guy, he loves hanging out with the ladies. He can be found wherever Rosie is, hoping one day she'll return his affections.

Onyx is very playful and loves to bounce around while she runs. She loves to get some one on one attention from her humans.

Opal love people more than anything! She will role over for belly rubs and can lay there all day long.

Described as "manipulative" by a local dog trainer, Raven is a girl who knows what she wants and will do anything to get it.

Raven is very fast and loves to run. On sledding days she will run between her human mom and the front door as if to say, "Hurry! Hurry!"

Ricky isn't the smartest dog on our team, but what he lacks in brains, he makes up for in brawn. Ricky always does his best to help the team. 

Ricky loves having his haunches scratched and will bark at you until you come over to give him some attention.

Rosie has an effortless gait. She runs as if she's barely touching the ground! Rosie is always up for some papering and will let you brush and pet her all day long. 

Ruthie is exceptionally smart. She began running in lead at only one year old.

She's always up for some snuggle time, and loves to have your full attention.

   Timber is all about play! He loves to wrestle and run in the yard with his teammates. He is a jumper and will try to jump up and give you kisses. Timber is one of our bigger dogs and runs in wheel.

   Wagon was adopted from our local animal shelter in October 2022. He had spent over ten months at the shelter waiting for his forever home.
   Wagon is a Siberian Husky mix, so he looks like the huskies you're probably used to seeing on TV. Wagon is very strong, but not very fast. He can run a few laps with the Alaskan Huskies before getting tired and needing a break.

Winston is as handsome as they come. He's very playful and will try to steal your mittens!

He can take some time to warm up to new people, but is such a fun guy when he comes out of his shell.

Wyatt is the complete package; he's fast, strong, smart, and has incredible drive. He is extremely energetic.

Like some huskies, Wyatt has heterochromia, differently colored eyes. Unusually, he has both blue and brown in each eye. This doesn't effect his vision, but gives him a very unique look!

Wyatt lead the team through a river during the Gunflint Mail Run in 2023!

Yukon was born deaf, but that doesn't hinder him from running with the team. He runs in Wheel and knows to follow the other dogs lead. Because he was born deaf, he doesn't bark the way most dogs do. When he gets excited to run he lets out a loud yell. 

 Yukon will hang out with you and walk by your side when outside and off leash.

Zircon is an active boy that enjoys pestering the older dogs and his siblings. He encourages them to chase after him and then he zooms away as fast as he can.
